The Internet berates them, reiterating that "this is the Internet you're talking to!" Gumball and Darwin laugh, but sigh in agreement afterwards. He and Darwin hug the Internet, saying that he shouldn't change, and that he should at least try and take some responsibility for his actions and be nicer to people. Gumball concedes, and calls the Internet beautiful. The two boys daydream about kittens for fifteen minutes, until the Internet talks to them again.
Darwin agrees with the Internet, and tells Gumball to think about it as well. Gumball is about to pull the plug when Darwin stops him, because of the Internet's "think of the kittens!" line. The Internet explains that he cannot, and starts pleading with them by telling them what the world would lose. Gumball threatens to unplug the Internet if his viral video is not deleted, and gives five seconds. Darwin whispers to Gumball about how unimpressive the Internet is in real life. The boys reply that his mother allowed them in, and the Internet yells at her for letting enemies into his "secret base." His mother, emitting dial-up sounds, apologizes. Gumball and Darwin appear, and the Internet demands to know who let them in. However, the Donut Cop loses the boys due to his inadequate physical fitness. The boys find sanctuary in a park, where there is no technology.Īt his house, the Internet laughs to himself, stating he "can be a jerk to anyone because he's behind the screen in the safety and comfort of his own home," right before the door to his room explodes.
The Internet even fools the Donut Cop into thinking the boys are wanted for multiple crimes. Gumball and Darwin dodge several vehicles as the Internet takes control of traffic systems, power lines, and other electrical items. They finally leave, but are hindered by the Internet once more. Gumball calls out the Internet on its mistake, stating "that was a repost." They once again attempt to leave but view two more pages, one of which was Gumball's viral video. They decide to confront the Internet in the physical world and find its address on the computer.īefore they can leave, the Internet attempts to distract them with content such as "100 funny animals in hats." They stay on the computer for several more hours, before realizing that the Internet is using its deadliest weapon - time wasting. Furious, Gumball challenges the internet and states that he will "go cyber-warrior on the internet's butt." Stripping his clothes, he attempts to upload himself via the scanner, but fails after Darwin is traumatized when he sees Gumball naked on the computer screen. When the video is uploaded, however, the Internet has tampered with it and the new video is now near unintelligible.
After some futile attempts, he decides to "delete the Internet" by throwing the computer into the trash.ĭarwin decides to appeal to the internet's sympathy by singing a song, despite Gumball telling him how heartless the Internet is. After calming down, he clicks the next video and discovers he has accidentally turned the webcam on, recording his screaming and publishing said video all over the Internet. Gumball stumbles upon a screamer video, and he freaks out for a prolonged time. Gumball and Darwin are staying inside their room, watching various videos on the internet.
